Adam Thom is a director and photographer from Alberta, Canada, who tells stories with heart, honesty, and a deep respect for the people in front of his lens.
Adam is drawn to the quiet moments most of us overlook—the everyday gestures, conversations, and spaces that carry unexpected beauty. He refers to these as the “Salt of the Earth,” and it’s this grounding philosophy that shapes his approach behind the camera. Whether he’s filming a high-stakes game or a quiet morning at home, Adam looks for the real, the human, and the meaningful.
Over the past six years, Adam has brought this perspective to a wide range of work, from branded films and commercial campaigns to short narratives and documentaries. He’s collaborated with athletes and artists like Roy Jones Jr., Floyd Mayweather Sr., Kris Versteeg, and Leslie Odom Jr., and worked alongside brands and organizations including KLEVR Klipz, the Lethbridge Hurricanes, the Western Hockey League, and GOODWORK Studios.
Before joining Salt & Pepper Studio as a director, Adam helped shape the visual identity of Drop Structures as its creative director. Today, his focus remains steady: to tell stories that are grounded, human, and visually honest—stories that remind us of what it means to be human.
